National Motor Neurone Disease Week

Motor neurone disease (MND) affects the nerves (motor neurones) that communicate between the brain and the muscles that enable us to move, speak, swallow and breathe.

It is estimated that over 420,000 of the world’s population are living with MND right now and the average life expectancy is 2-3 years.
